Its streets. its villages ¨ ¨, are very poor. But colorful, lively, motion, of people and animals. Authentic, isolated in their mountains and their misery, different even from those of an increasingly homogenous world.
I admire the dedication of the army of 'cholitas' ; pure Incas, with their colorful costumes, their huge hats that protect them from the scorching sun, working all day on the street. Some are very old, others go with their children to the arm, but all are seen very poor, owners just sell food carts where, ice; from their posts on the sidewalk fruit, crafts and gadgets used. Subsist without complaint through life without fanfare.
The Bolivians are friendly, honored, Large heart. Very quick to help. I remember a cholita giving someone who asked to eat the peanut bags selling.
The cities are full of churches, but what is striking is that they are full of Bolivians. They are gullible, forgiveness, fervent believers. I've climbed a public bus where the driver entertained us with a tape telepredicación, Bat: CHRIST IS COMING, READY !!… and so the whole trip. I've seen all kinds of business with the most pious names…

josan I see you're having fun….. if holiday vacation sounds weird but I feel it is so. when I got curicó, two days before returning to work, was exhausted, discouraged and thought: I need a month off to rest!!!! what whiners we.
